I’m pretty sure it’s Spanish for Laundromat. But who am I kidding, it could say “Big sexy ladies inside” and I wouldn’t know the difference. The first month is done, and while I haven’t missed a day of shooting. I missed over two weeks of uploading already. That’s not good. Goal for February, don’t mess up on scanning.

Jenny and I were treated to a wonderful meal at Pour here in Portland. It’s amazing to hear the owner talk about wine. Smelling it and telling you what’s inside, where it was grown, what the weather was like. Absolutely nutty, like me talking about film only ten fold.

I always enjoy the monthly Portland Flickr Meetup, even though I do get the occasional odd look from some of the older members who say “boy I don’t miss film at all!”, many of them have a good sense of humor and enjoy photography no matter what method you use to capture light. If you’re in the Portland area please stop by!

I found a ton of these sweet seat covers at goodwill that were made right here in Beaverton back in the 80s. Threw one on my bike for fun, you can also see my film fridge in the background.

I spent the day with Jenny seeing some wonderful things. After driving through the gorge, and wandering around hood river she took me to a restaurant she hadn’t been to in quite a few years.

“Tad’s Chicken N Dumplings” on the Sandy river. It was wonderful, although slightly embarrassing as we both ordered the Chicken N Dumplings (who wouldn’t) and the waiter asked if we were sure as they were rather large. We both confidently shrugged and thought we’d be fine.

It wasn’t awkward until we had to ask for to-go boxes…

Friday night has become sushi night with friends over the past few months. I am a fan of this.

It’s over exposed, and not the greatest photo in the world. But I’m still happy I’ve been able to do what I told myself I wanted to do. Take a photo, any photo during the day. Though I’ll be honest, I know exactly why this has been tough this week. Not sure this blog is the best place to talk about it though.

Another boring night at home. See this is what I was talking about yesterday, I work on Mississippi and there is always so much going on. I’ve blown through a 36 exposure roll in no time, yet for some reason I just can’t get myself to take the one picture I require myself to take each day.
